Stanley Vashovsky - A Healthcare Technology Entrepreneur
Stanley (Stan) Vashovsky's 35-year career has focused on the intersection of healthcare and technology. His professional journey showcases an entrepreneurial spirit and innovative mindset that began when he launched his first venture from a garage in Brooklyn at the age of 18. Mr. Vashovsky founded Medcare LLC, a company specializing in medical equipment servicing and software development – an early indication of the personal vision and drive that would set the stage for his future successes. He led Medcare to develop innovative software that automated medical equipment testing, and grew this startup into a national company.
In May 2001, Philips Healthcare acquired Medcare, and Stan joined Philips as the youngest vice president within his division. He continued to drive progress, leading numerous innovative projects and overseeing medical device and technology software advancements.
After his tenure at Philips, Mr. Vashovsky was recruited to join Health Systems Solutions as CEO and chairman. He successfully turned around this struggling home healthcare software company, transitioned it to private ownership, drove its business growth, and guided its eventual successful sale to a New York-based private equity shop.
Following this successful exit Stanley Vashovsky co-founded DocGo, which leveraged his healthcare technology expertise to develop proprietary technology and innovative mobile healthcare and medical transportation solutions across the US and in the UK.
